Matthew 24; 37-51
37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
To eat, and drink, and get married, are normal necessities of humanity, but on Genesis we see that on the days of Noah people were abusing this things.
The devil tricked them, and instead of being satisfied in God, people were trying to be satisfied with this natural necessities.
The same things are happening nowadays! So i must assume that the Day is coming!
40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. 42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.(Rev3)
Both men, and both women were working! You are supposed to be doing something. You can be doing something. They had a Lord, so it means that both were saved, but one taken, and left the other. Our Lord is coming, but who is going with Him, and who is staying?
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
What security mesures do you take to protect what is yours? And why do you do this? Because you don’t know when the thief is coming, you are always prepared. Why aren’t you prepared for when Jesus comes?
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.
Imagine a old countryside house, where the master and the servants would live together. The master travels and leave one of the servants taking care of the other servants. He takes good car of them:
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor
The day will come, when Jesus will rule over all nations on Earth. He is the rightful King, and He is coming to take what is His. And, He will set the good servant over ALL His possessions.
48 But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know 51 and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth
Christ is the perfect judge, and He will judge all of us. The unsaved are already condemned! You are saved, but are you approved? Do you have a reward or a discipline waiting for you?
2 Corinthians 5;10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil
Are you ready?
